On 21 and 22 February 2020 the Vienna Arbitration Days took place in Vienna. The Vienna Arbitration Days are the leading arbitration conference in Austria that welcomes participants from around the globe for two days of lively discussions on leading topics in international arbitration. The topics this year included safeguarding public interest in arbitration, public policy, competition and insolvency and an “arbitration world café” on the second day, as a novel format permitting interaction of the audience with top arbitration experts aimed at voicing common understandings, demands for changes and developing new concepts. KPS’s Martina Prpić attended the conference and participated in two panel discussions at tables on insolvency in arbitration and arbitration and third party funding. The social program included a gala dinner and one of the world famous Viennese balls.
