The final of the competition of Moot Court Croatia was held on 5 May 2019 at the County Court in Zagreb. It is the only student competition in form of a simulated court trial in Croatia. Kovačević Prpić Simeunović LLC has participated as a partner and has mentored the winning team of students from the University of Zagreb, made up of Tena Kampić, Ana Romić, Benjamin Sadrić and Baldo Šoljan. One of the team members, Ana Romić, has also won the award for best speaker of this year’s competition.

The competition is intended for third or higher year law students and is usually involving drafting submissions and participating in oral court hearing, based on a hypothetical case. By participating, students gain valuable practical experience in teamwork, case study, writing submissions and arguing before court. The greatest value of the competition makes the direct involvement of professors, judges, attorneys and other legal practitioners.  Moot Court Croatia has originated from moot court competitions, which are extremely popular among law students worldwide.
