In the organization of the Croatian Transport Law Association (CTLA) and the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CCTC), on 25 September 2018, a panel discussion was held in Zagreb under the name “Taxi transport and transport by vehicles up to eight passengers under the Road Transport Act 2018: new challenges“. Martina Prpić and Tomislav Sadrić from KPS participated at the panel as introductionary speakers.

Martina introduced the new national legislation on taxi transport, which brings numerous changes with the aim of market liberalization. In his presentation, Tomislav commented on the legal arrangement of vehicles with capacity of up to 8 passengers (8+1 vehicles), and regulatory challenges which carriers encounter in practice. The introductionary speeches were also held by Mr Saša Šolman, a head of Service for Road Motor Vehicles in the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure and Mr Matija Duić, the representative of the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts. After introductory speeches, a high-quality and fruitful discussion developed among participants of the panel, which representatives of the carriers used to highlight regulatory issues they encounter in their everyday business.
