The 6th edition of Hospital Days was held this week on the island of St. Nikola in Poreč as a part of the largest regional technology and business conference Windays18. The conference is a result of collaboration between the IN2 Group and Microsoft.
One of the topics of the conference was also the omnipresent General Dana Protection Regulation, which came into force on 25 May 2018 in all European Union member states. Application of the GDPR is particularly important for the health sector which processing a large volume of special categories of personal data – health data of data subjects.
Besides speakers from the IT sector (IN2 group, Microsoft, Medapp etc.) and health sector, partner in KPS Danijela Simeunović held a presentation regarding GDPR in healthcare and participated in a round table on better data usage for a smart healthcare system.
