Organized by the Association eSTUDENT, the opening of the competition of Moot Court Croatia was held on 22 January 2020 at the Faculty of Law in Rijeka. Moot Court Croatia is the only student competition in form of a simulated court trial in Croatia that is undertaken in Croatian language and based on Croatian legislation. The project is being held for the eighth consecutive year and is modelled on moot court competitions, which are extremely popular among law students worldwide.
The opening was attended by a number of significant names from Croatia’s academic and legal life. Kovačević Prpić Simeunović LLC again participates as partner of the competition. KPS’s Martina Prpić and Filip Dmitrašinović participated in the opening ceremony where they spoke about the importance of student participation at moot courts and gave practical advice to students in order to better prepare for the competition.
